Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Meltdown SOS application. These terms govern your access to and use of our service, including any content, functionality, and services offered through the App.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Meltdown SOS ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of Service

Meltdown SOS is an AI-powered parenting support application that provides:

Real-time voice coaching during child meltdowns and tantrums

AI-powered text chat for parenting guidance and advice

Breathing exercises and calming techniques

Behavioral tracking, journaling, and insights

Customizable calm scripts and routine management

Co-parent sharing and family collaboration features

AI Limitations: AI-generated responses may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation. Use your own judgment when applying any guidance provided by the App.

Emergency Situations: Meltdown SOS is not an emergency service. If you or your child are in immediate danger, call your local emergency services (911 in the US).

User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the App.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier: Meltdown SOS offers a free tier with limited access to features including a limited number of SOS voice sessions and AI chat messages per day.

Premium Subscription: The Premium subscription is offered as an auto-renewable monthly subscription. The subscription includes a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers.

Pricing: Subscription prices are displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change with notice.

Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Free Trial: If offered, the free trial period is for new subscribers only. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when purchasing a subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems

Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App

Use the App to harm, threaten, or harass any person

Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, software, and AI-generated content — are owned by Meltdown SOS or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App (messages, child profiles, journal entries, etc.).

By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the service.

We do not use your personal content to train AI models.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information you provide about your children.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meltdown SOS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
